Kids' Minerals Activity

This is an interactive module designed to teach children about a few types of minerals commonly found in familiar objects.

Please note that it is shown here in a video format for demonstration purposes. However, the original project is an interactive SCORM file that must be hosted in a Learning Management System (LMS).

The benefit of interactive modules is that the learner can actively participate in the experience by clicking on the images on the screen. Active participation increases learner engagement and memory retention.

The first part of the module shows and explains the four different minerals, and the second part is an activity where the learners are asked to recall those minerals and click on the image associated with each mineral type.

I created this activity with Adobe Captivate, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Photoshop.
